‘Line Pirates: Bane of the MultiVersal Corps is a turn-based collectible card game, with a high-adventure sci-fantastical military theme.
Cards are played in a board grid, and this geometry affects play. Unit cards with matching attributes form squads, which are more powerful than the individual units. Terrain cards modify all attacks made through them.
We want skill and strategy to play an equal role to quality of cards. We want replay value. We have RPG-like aspects (card leveling, player leveling, storylines, etc.)
There are PvE missions in campaigns for single player, and PvP skirmishing. We also have tournaments and special events. There will be strong competition, prestige, and sports analogs.
The capstone will be an attempt get player created content, where players can create missions that other players play.
