Protect N creates a Interrupt Trigger on a TARGET Unit. The TARGET may not be ME; a Unit may not Protect itself.

The Effect Syntax is:

Protect N Unit

When the TARGET would take D Damage , then ME takes up to N of that Damage instead of the TARGET. More specifically:

Multiple Units Protecting each other do not infinitely volley Damage ; each Effect is Triggered Once. When multiple Units Protect the same Unit and it takes Damage , the Player may choose the order of Resolution.
