Every Unit Card has one of six Weapons:

  • Physical - Tends toward straightforward physical or exposive damage
  • Mental - Employs subterfuge and misdirection, or blatant psionic powers
  • Tech - Utilizes scientific and electronic infrastructure
  • Exotic - Everything else from magic idols to alien ray guns
  • Crude - Improvised or inexpertly used. Mainly found on Civilians
  • Mixed - This special weapon Matches Any weapon. Mainly found on Officers

Weapon matching is important in the formation of Offensive Squads, and hence Maneuver access.
